Cons

Just like any other customer service job at any other tech company. Extremely strict on clock in and out, and lower end of pay range for position. Training was lacking, I did not feel I was adequately trained for my role. I was told to refer to internal databases that frequently did not have the answer and when reaching out to senior coworkers I was often left hanging on a question and could not complete my task because of this.

Great people, very team oriented, decent pay, job responsibilities are very clear, great work-life balance.

Cons

Company vision seems unclear a lot of the time, not exactly sure where the product is trying to be in 5 - 10 years. Pay isn't as competitive in Austin nowadays.

I enjoyed my time at BigCommerce at the beginning. Onboarding was solid, I felt like I was set up for success. Worked with very some smart, capable people. Good benefits + unlimited PTO.

Cons

Favoritism. Runs. Rampant. Promotions are pies in the sky. Product functionality is extremely subpar when compared to other ecommerce platforms. Work/life balance and pay did not match up with insane workload of certain teams.
