Pros
I’ve been really happy working at BigCommerce over the past few years. I have a ton of confidence in our leadership team, especially within the Professional Services org. Additionally, this is one of the few companies I know that consistently promotes from within rather than finding outside talent. No company is perfect but I feel like BC is a great place to work, especially early in your career.
Cons
My biggest complaint is that there’s no 401k match. Other than that, we do have some not so great internal processes that can get in the way of our merchant experience. These processes can change on a whim too (without much notice and not always for the better). But from my experience most tech companies deal with this. BC typically listens to our feedback and makes the appropriate changes when absolutely necessary though.
