Great CEO, horrible managers

Pros

Love the CEO, the team is great to work with as far as the solutions consultants, ADR's, etc. Good benefits for the most part.

Cons

My specific manager was incredibly toxic and manipulative. If it wasn't for him, I would probably still be there. It got so bad I had to leave. The company shifted gears so now you have sales either calling on all net new or all expansion sion and the hunter role is a joke. They aren't getting new customers and just keep raising their pricing. I have never worked for such a toxic company and I've had a few. It was really just unfortunate because during the interview process I was so excited for this company but 8 interviews should've been the red flag.

Feeling the venture capital crunch

Pros

Competent and caring team members Full-time remote with free WeWork membership if you prefer to work in an office Generally good benefits and pay Open PTO (though this can be a con if you or your manager don't prioritize PTO)

Cons

Ever-increasing demands from the C-suite with no increase in budget or staffing Going from a CEO who founded the company, knew a lot about our industry, and really seemed to care about employees, to one who doesn't seem to understand the industry or what motivates employees. (Hint: it's not "changing the future of B2B finance." or "being mentioned in the same breath as Salesforce or Workday" — that's what motivates you. For 99% of you employees, it's pay, benefits, competency and our teammates.)

Pros

—Work from anywhere —Open PTO

Cons

— Expensive benefits for a family — Goalposts keep getting moved for bonuses and yearly goals —Department goals are very lofty and while admirable, bonus payouts and salary raises do not equal the increased workloads required to meet these goals
