A nightmare if you live outside New York

Pros

Training, travel, and accommodation expenses were covered.

Cons

The role is nothing like the fully remote position promised. Training lasts four grueling weeks, and while some expenses are covered, the amount is tiny compared to what you spend. Stress levels are crushing, and many quit before finishing because the burden is unbearable. It actually isn’t worth it, it’s terrible if you live outside New York.

The environment was pure turbulence. Priorities shifted constantly, deadlines were set before anyone knew what was being built, and leadership changed direction mid-project without warning. Teams worked in panic mode, patching features instead of improving them. The chaos made it impossible to deliver quality work or feel proud of anything released.

There were skilled and talented people; colleagues were great to work with.

Cons

Management has zero respect for employees’ time or boundaries, making every workday unbearable. Micromanagement is suffocating and turns even simple tasks into exhausting ordeals. Instead of owning their failures, management unfairly blames employees for inefficiency while constantly meddling and creating chaos.
