Pros

Working for the Biltmore has been a truly enjoyable experience. The managers where I work are all qualified and very helpful. The atmosphere is fun while still maintaining the working relationship between manager and employee. The employees fit together and help each other whenever needed.

Cons

Sometimes it does show that we are a large company and the bottom line matters. Decisions are made high up on the ladder that affects the other employees slightly negatively.

Pros

Great location. Work in a "castle" surrounded by priceless works of art and furniture. Company has excellent benefits and an on site health clinic. Company is very supportive. Coworkers are like family.

Cons

Must work holidays. Front line positions do not allow time off to visit family during Christmas and thanksgiving. Salaries make it difficult to live on your own.

Pros

Professional coworkers and supervisors. Free entrance to the estate and huge discount. Once the schedule was set, there were little to no changes so it was easy to plan around my work schedule.

Cons

It was difficult to take time off for an emergency situation. To take time off, you had to switch shifts with another call center employee without increasing either employee's hours. In other words, you couldn't give your hours away to someone willing to work in your place.
