Pros
Most employees are genuinely passionate about their job. They truly want to do great things and take a sense of pride in ownership. Bill Cecil (CEO) is one of these employees who truly cares. He is down-to-earth and still plugged in with what's happening in many ares of the company. Once you've proven your loyalty to the company, you're in forever. There's little risk of getting fired for making a mistake (in management positions). If you work on property, it is truly a beautiful and inspiring location to work.
Cons
No paid family leave. For a company that claims to care about families, it's time to step it up. Though there are women in leadership positions, the woman-focused company is still very much led by men. Upper-level management (Company "Presidents") seem totally disconnected and unaware of what's happening in many areas of the company. The CEO seems more aware than the President of the division. Different divisions make decisions in silos. Though there are strategic plans galore, it doesn't stop an idea from getting pushed through that has no tie to the "why" or "how". Communication is a big fail for the company right now, and is getting worse as it grows. There's no recourse for bad leadership. If someone in a management position does a bad job or fails at a task, there seems to be no acceptance of blame. I've seen a person in leadership fail to complete a major project and get promoted anyway.
