Pros

The product works and has a certain "shine" to it. There are some very well intentioned people working here, especially as IC's and front-line managers.

Cons

It's been a minute since I've left, which means much of the "bad" has started to be relegated to the memory bins. This is not a mature organization, especially on the sales side, especially given the level of revenue being reported. There have been multiple CRO's and VP's run through the system in the past two/three years, and all have either left or been fired because of the lack of any opportunity to make an impact. All decisions flow through the "Fab Four", but strategic-decisions lack logic or data-analysis, often following the whims of two people at the top and without historical backing (or experience) for their decisions. Cashflow is well managed, but at a severe impact to overall growth, as investments are considered far too expensive. As an example, I was told that 75% of the floor missed quota last year, but somehow they increased their balance sheet - that's not a company invested in growth, is it? VERY few AE's are hitting targets, and it's been this way for quite some time. Were you to look at RepVue it would likely show a worse score. Attrition for sales is through the roof, as talented folks quickly realize they've been mislead or lied to as part of the recruitment process. I won't slander individuals here - but I wouldn't trust a single person at the ELT level. I do think the CEO is very well-intentioned - genuinely believe that. However, I'm concerned the business has outgrown his ability to lead it strategically, and delegate to his team accordingly for more mature operational rigor.
