Pros

Some of the employees are laid back and are helpful. That's it, that's all there is to this company. You will learn nothing. All their systems and software are proprietary.

Cons

This company is actively hiring. Please read this and the recent two critical reviews whom I 100% agree with, before you consider joining. The morale is dead. The engineering team only does work they 'have' to because there are no incentives for them. You will not get the money for promotion. The company does not recognize 'above and beyond.' the reviews about 'korean culture' are accurate. mind you, there are some great korean engineers, but a lot of the people in the exec team have the same culture which will have you working 60 hour weeks, not getting paid any extra, and not recognizing it at end of the year. there are executives who have been with the company for dozen or so years -- if you join, look out for those, avoid those...and the newest ones. I guess avoid all executives. You do not want to join this company right now. Maybe in 2018. Maybe a few years from now on. This is a bad time.

Pros

Some coworkers are awesome and supportive. Small company so you may get more frequent opportunity to grow at faster rate vs working at a large established companies. New senior leaders are very helpful and actually trying to make something work.

Cons

Salary is abysmal. You will earn more money working for uncle sam. Bonuses are do not exist. No real benefits besides the govt mandated ones. Culture is dead. You are expected to work over 40 hours a week. The training needs overhaul. Don’t give employees homework. This isn’t school. Don’t expect me to spend my thanksgiving and christmas hours doing homework. Work life balance is non-existent. They will hand you 40+ hour workload and tell you to not work overtime??? Many of the good seniors members left because of a SVP they fired last year. Asian work mindset. Micromanagement.

Pros

*IF* you're in the right team, the workload will be light and you will get good mentorship. Unfortunately, most of the said good mentors have left the company in the last couple of years. The workload being semi-light while you prep for another, better job is the only good thing I can say about this company in 2023. I rated it 4/5 in 2020, but it has gotten significantly worse since then.

Cons

Micromanagement. The company is Korean owned and a majority of team leads, managers, and employees are Korean. The Korean work culture mindset is prevalent. You will be micromanaged, and sometimes you will be micro-ed hard. Your pay will be lackluster. I know people in the company who started at ~40k and are barely getting any promotions. The investors have told the execs to nerf bonuses and raises because of their negative balance two years in a row. You will be paid the "minimum" band. So if the band for say, software engineer III is 80k-140k, you will get say, 81k. Depending on your team, your day might be a meeting hell. You might spend 5 hours a day in pointless meetings. Most of the company clients are healthcare and govt agencies, so bureaucracy is rampant. Their own software that they peddle is proprietary 'no code low code' solution(you can visit their website for more info - it's all public information). You WILL hurt yourself in your career by working on it, as it uses abysmally old tech stack. You get 10 days of vacation and 5 sick days. These do not roll over. You also generally cannot take all 10 days together without 'special cases.'
