Too focused on bottom line, lack of promotion--hard work not always recognized, benefits expensive for coverage given

Pros

Great teams internally. Wonderful clients. Great atmosphere and love the encouragement for volunteering.

Cons

Blackbaud prides themselves on paying low salaries. Their benefits are decent, but it's a young company because it is essentially a resume builder.

Pros

You get to work with charities to improve peoples lives. Work-life balance is sane. They do a good job of on-boarding you and giving you time to adjust to your position.

Cons

Obsolete approach to custom development. You had to use their in-house tools that were inferior to any programming language. IT was unresponsive to consultants.
