Pros

Blackbaud makes software that allows non-profits to do more. It feels great going to work everyday knowing your work makes a difference. We typically volunteer during work hours (with full pay) quarterly. They match your donations up to $250. Fun, casual work environment. Working in the office is encouraged, but managers are supportive of remote work when needed.

Cons

The CEO needs to be more approachable. Company news is only sent infrequently via formal, lengthy email. Need a better way to know what’s going on at the company in short, frequent bursts. We need more female senior leaders at the highest level.

Pros

Pros are helping non-profits serve their missions and getting to work with lots of other employees that are here for the same reasons. Great time away from work benefits Org structure is clear and I've always felt like I knew exactly what was expected of me.

Cons

Blackbaud has gotten to be a sizable organization. It can be difficult to navigate across silos to get a job accomplished when deadlines are coming due. You have to make relationships in all those other areas to ensure you can get things accomplished quickly.

Pros

Blackbaud is so much better than any place I've worked before. They have a generous PTO policy, benefits, and a great development program for employees just entering the workforce.

Cons

Work life balance is usually really great; sometimes it can be stressful when projects are due in a short amount of time, but that is rare.
