The Energy, Benefits, Salary, and Work-Life are GREAT!

Pros

Benefits, PTO (up to 24 days off the first year), and energy are phenomenal. I think entry level analyst pay is comparable to the industry and the work life is great. I can't explain it but the energy in Indianapolis is SO positive. Every area you go everyone is happy. That's unheard of! They encourage creativity with things like the giant crossword puzzle on the wall and they have so many little "perks" that really make the experience a great one.

Cons

I haven't found any yet. I guess some people complain about the cost of benefits or the 401k matching but I found that there are many companies with way less in those areas.

Great people, great mission, transparent culture. They've handled a lot of major company changes and acquisitions the last few years gracefully and seem to truly value employee feedback and criticism and work to make tangible changes and improvements.

Cons

Career progression can be slow, health insurance is getting really expensive, lots of org changes and leadership changes.

Pros

The company mission and customers are very worthy causes. The work life balance is pretty fair and accommodating, including ability to work from home without any issues. The new CEO seems to be the right guy.

Cons

The company is still struggling on innovation. Also, all the new management sees to believe the non-profit market is vastly larger than it really is. There is a lot of new Senior leadership that has not embraced the knowledge of proven "soldiers" to learn about the market and how to be a better partner to customers. Typical new leadership strategy, they are smarter than everyone else...
