Pros

If you want constant change, it's great. Many of the people are wonderful, caring individuals, and you will make friends.

Cons

Leadership instills a blame culture and will not accept that they have made terrible decisions - many good employees have left in frustration. Benefits are very mediocre and bonuses are decided on a whim, with constantly shifting targets. Some managers are incredibly mean-spirited - to the point of abusive language and intimidation - and excuse their behavior as "leadership."

Pros

- Very kind employees, who are very resourceful and are very good at what they do. - Relaxed dress code/appearance - Option to work remotely

Cons

- Low morale amongst employees, mainly noticed after acquisition by Blackbaud in 2008, formerly known Target Software/Analytics - High turnover on middle management - No major company outings since acquisition - Very redundant work environment. - Poor lunch options within a mile radius (office is located next to Cambridgeside Galleria) - Yearly raises are unacceptable under the Corporate hammer - Unreasonable deadlines (depending on department)

Pros

Blackbaud has a great support team - if you need help with something there is someone to assist you. The lower management isn't terrible and tries their best to help mitigate issues. They have a decent PTO offering and the remote environment is family friendly when needed.

Cons

This company pay pennies to industry standard. The benefits are terrible and I would pay less money for health insurance on the marketplace than I do for myself at Blackbaud. Only 34% of AE's met quota last year and they still split territories in half and increased quota by a good amount. People that overachieved in 2023 could sell the same amount in 2024 and it would not even meet quota. They are constantly blaming the Account Executives for low sales when in reality there are no inbound leads, they make it impossible to make a sale, every process they add into our sales cycle are slowing the deals down and half of them ghost through the strict evaluation process that is required of Blackbaud. Our pricing for our commercial team is outrageous and we lose to price almost everytime but the AE's are to blamed for not creating value. When our small orgs only have a small budget it is very hard to drive value when they have no wiggle room in budget. AE's have now become glorified BDRS but are making less than BDRS at this point due to low base pay. Our CEO just got a DUI and took zero responsiblity for it in his email to the company. He is saying that the economy is in a great place currently and that is not the reason we are seeing low sales, that it is because of the Account Executives not giving it their all essentially. We need new leadership, increases in pay, different pricing structure for small orgs, and less processes in a sales cycle.
