Pros

Fully Remote Work Somewhat beneficial time off structure

Cons

- This company prides itself on its remote first culture, but doesnt actually do anything to support their remote employees. They do not help with your home office, wifi, nothing. You basically sacrifice a shot at a decent workspace for the "privilege" to get to work from work. Consider that you will likely have to spend 500 dollars to outfit your office when you start. The company just takes the savings from not having an office to make their shareholders happy and achieve the rule of 40. -Be prepared for a ton of turnover and for a ton of extra work to be thrown in your lap as a result of layoffs or people quitting. The hiring process is terrible and often takes months for positions to be filled. You will not receive anything extra for doing extra work. -Related to the extra work, do not expect that this will lead to a promotion or higher salary, there isn't really any advancement opportunities inside BlackBaud, consider the role that you will be doing and the role you will be in for the next 4 or 5 years.

Pros

The customers: most are working to change the world!

Cons

Only cares about wallstreet, not customers, not employees, not products. Poducts are based on 20 year old technology Forces customers to adapt to them, offers no real localization outside the US Tries to go international but doesn´t think outside Charleston SC Terrible location: Charleston is a tiny town in South Carolina. Hard to hire good talent. Terrible compensation, if you travel, they don´t cover all your expenses.

Pros

Quality people, good benefits, nice office.

Cons

Poor internal communication between departments. Heavy micromanaging in customer support. Products are riddled with bugs, and most will never be fixed. High turnover due to awful training.
