Pros

Clients are such a positive side to Blackbaud. The clients are healthcare, non-profits and higher ed.

Cons

Middle management is a very difficult side of Blackbaud; it depends on what group you work for; if it's the wrong group--there's only one way --their way; your opinion doesn't matter. If they don't look good then you are in that 'boat by yourself'."

Pros

Successful growing company that serves the nonprofit sector. Lot's of growth potential for those that are bright and willing to drive change.

Cons

The company can be slow to move/react sometimes. Vending machines are too expensive. Needs more soft seating in the Charleston office.

Seemingly flexible Lots of interesting colleagues with diverse backgrounds

Cons

Can never work hard enough to get ahead Must be part of good ol' boys club (or a pretty young girl) to advance Cannot keep enough EM's to manage highly complex projects Cannot keep the good tech resources, so outsource custom work to Pakistan New products are aggresively sold, but not thoughtfully scoped Divisions are extremely silo'd
