There are few opportunities for career growth and limited transferable skills/experience to positions outside the sector. Business units are siloed by geography and function. The C-suite executive team is out of touch with core customers and the workforce.

- This company prides itself on its remote first culture, but doesnt actually do anything to support their remote employees. They do not help with your home office, wifi, nothing. You basically sacrifice a shot at a decent workspace for the "privilege" to get to work from work. Consider that you will likely have to spend 500 dollars to outfit your office when you start. The company just takes the savings from not having an office to make their shareholders happy and achieve the rule of 40. -Be prepared for a ton of turnover and for a ton of extra work to be thrown in your lap as a result of layoffs or people quitting. The hiring process is terrible and often takes months for positions to be filled. You will not receive anything extra for doing extra work. -Related to the extra work, do not expect that this will lead to a promotion or higher salary, there isn't really any advancement opportunities inside BlackBaud, consider the role that you will be doing and the role you will be in for the next 4 or 5 years.
