Pros

Talented people with some of the best personalities all over the company. There is zero corporate feel and everyone is treated on the same playing field. Everyone strives to help each other out and its a very welcoming community. From the principals on down this company feels like a real team effort and it really is fun!

Cons

Flip side to be anti-corporate is that organization and policy are all over the place which can make for a very stressful environment. Because we are growing so fast lots of new employees are sent out to the field with little training on how the company does business. There are many sink or swim moments and its easy to burn out.

Pros

It was great to feel like they were trying to change up the property management industry from it's corporate counterparts. BT is fresh with innovative strategies. They hire people who really care to make people's living experience at their properties worthwhile which really separates them from the rest. They are generous with when you want to take PTO and have a relaxed work attire, throw awesome HH parties, and the holiday parties are really well thought out.

Cons

BT is growing at a fast pace, but with obtaining more properties I noticed there was a lack of attention to the employee satisfaction on a day-to-day basis. A lot of employees gained more in their work load, but their compensation didn't get any higher from it even after some time. There are several current employees, in my opinion, that should be farther ahead but they don't try to be a part of the "in crowd". It came off like brown-nosing/favoritism allowed someone to get ahead more than their skill sets or work ethic.
