Pros
Blavity is the epitome of the ROI on Diversity. I would say the company is 80+ black with a diverse representation in leadership and 80% women. The diverse leadership and employee representation has created a very accommodating company culture and I never have to hurdle through the normal corporate "games" many people of color experience in the work space. The company is young and open to new ideas. This is a very exciting and purpose place to work.
Cons
The ambiguity for working at a young company is not for everybody. Although the company leadership has strategically included older executives, many operation procedures may seem unorthodox but it works.
