Pros

Great community bank. Easy to learn multiple functions of banking if you keep an open mind. I no longer work there and I still recommend them as a credit union. Training was difficult at first and I think they realized that and changed the way they positioned their traveling bankers.

Cons

Monthly bonus is difficult to earn unless you submit a certain dollar amount in investment referrals.

Pros

Direct colleagues were good people. Some department Directors were good to work with.

Cons

IT leadership was disorganized and unprofessional. No real leadership within department or company. Massive turnover. Handling employee onboarding I saw first hand the amount of new hire/separation tickets that came in. "Best credit union to work for" is all marketing stuff. They ram it down your throat to vote for spire. Toxic horrible workplace.

Fast growing Credit Union with products built with the member in mind. Wide footprint for membership which gives great options.

Cons

Fast growth is a blessing for both membership and staff, but it can take some time to normalize all departments.
