Pros

I've been at the business for over five years and have personally experienced the evolution of being at a founder-owned bootstrap business to the first transaction with a growth equity firm, to three acquisitions and another transaction with a private equity firm. Throughout that five-plus-year journey the business has consistently gotten better not only as an employee but as a provider to the non-profit market. We continue to raise the bar both internally and externally and I'm extremely proud to work at this company. It doesn't mean that individual days or weeks or even months along that journey were always easy or smooth but the one thing that cannot be argued with is that the business has been on a consistent upward trajectory since 2020.

Cons

It seems like we're still dealing with a vocal minority, a sub-5% of the employee base, that won't be happy with whatever we do and they're going to complain about AI use or focusing on growth. They detract from the exciting things that are happening at the company.

Pros

Amazing culture, great work/life balance, extremely genuine people in management, and a fantastic mission that every person all the way to the top believes in and pushes for. This is a special place to work. I went through jobs for the last several years until I found this group. They're different.

Cons

It takes a lot of dedication to the job. The company supports a vast amount of tasks for their clients and you have to be willing to step up and drink from the fire hydrant at first to get used to the flow. But, it's worth it if you can do it.

Pros

The BDR leadership team at Bloomerang is truly top-tier. They don't just manage; they mentor. There is a genuine focus on coaching rather than just hitting numbers, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day morale. One of the best parts about starting in the BDR organization here is the clear upward mobility. Bloomerang prioritizes internal promotions, and you can see a defined path into Account Executive roles, Management, or even other departments.

Cons

At the moment, there are no clear cons I can think of. I genuinely love working at Bloomerang and seeing how we can help impact the lives of nonprofits.
