This is not a forward thinking, or young company. This is a very slow changing, conservative company. Leadership dislikes change and wants everything old school. The atmosphere is very dim, and smiles are few. Not a joking team. On top of this, the benefits besides pay are few. Oh and free snacks and drinks? Good luck even getting drinkable water in the office. Also VERY political in both the office sense and the DC sense.

It depends on the department you are in. Some are very good and could give a great start to your career. However, other areas are prone to extremely toxic work environments. Much of the problem lies in middle management which is largely comprised of lifers who have no interest in change or innovation. One would think complaints to HR, significant voluntary turnover rate, and emails sent directly to senior management detailing toxic and malignant work environments would be taken seriously, but no change is made. Also the pay is well below market average.
