Pros

Amazing hardware you will learn a lot. Endless money supply. Even though most abuse this privilege. Free snacks and drinks for now.

Cons

Management is terrible. The coworkers that don't have much skill in there occupation are toxic. This leads to them talking bad about everyone else in the department and spreading untrue facts about individuals at the company. Management believes what ever they tell them. Rather than search for the truth and form there own opinion. Even if it is known a specific employee doesn't work, toxic, or just flat out can't do there job the company will never fire you. You will get fired from Mcdonalds for messing a burger up before blue ever fires you. I guess that's a plus if you don't have any skill and can sell your self enough to get a job. The company is going down hill faster than any other I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and don't come to blue origin if you have true skill in your field. The grass is not greener over here. I wish there was someone that could help but upper management turns a blind eye and let's things continue as is. We will never be able to be a production company at this rate.

Pros

Amazing company World Changing Ideas!

Cons

Management on the floor is literally a circus, There is an absolute power struggle. between a circus performer and his side kick, and what would be real management if it was allowed. The two individuals are systematically poisoning the entire production floor. They are undermining departments and managers. then they systematically target people who are no use to there agenda. Or those who refuse to comply with there demands. This pulls moral down and creates an absolute TOXIC environment. I hope Jeff or someone reads this, The 2 seem to be unstoppable in there quest for corporate management production domination. They will lie demean and cut anyone down who stand in their way. This is absolute poison and will lead to far more damaging consequences if not brought in check.

Pros

Fantastic people that are very smart and talented

Cons

Management that is trying to make Blue a fulfillment center instead of a rocket company. They lay people off under the guise of 'performance' and then distribute the work on the rest of the team so is already under water. They just fire people for performance without employees ever knowing that they did not meet the managers expectation. No PIP's just fire out of nowhere. It is all about the rate and numbers now, People are just numbers and used as peons they may even slap a barcode on the employees soon to scan them. The morale is so low but management doesn't care at all. A new leadership principle was implemented last year that says Hire and develop the best. Blue does hire the best but has never done any development and then management is shocked when people leave because there is no development.
