      - rocket launches - exciting industry - interesting technology - passionate engineers

      Cons

      - CEO is extremely out of touch - CEO has created an extra layer of 'people managers' who do not understand the tools, processes, or architecture - leadership does not take accountability - schedule is the priority and drives every decision - pay is stagnant, raises do not keep up with inflation - no women engineers in positions of power - has no plans on keeping WFH or hybrid options for post pandemic

      Exciting technologies Well funded for capital projects

      Pay isn't commensurate with the level of skill and knowledge require to work here. They say they benchmark to other companies but most other companies don't do such complicated work with so little staffing. So we should be getting paid well above "the market." Recently many people are realizing this and leaving for better pay and more advancement opportunities. Technical abilities of recent hires (past 2 years) aren't up to the standards they were at before. Less experienced and less capable people are being hired and slowing the company down. Little to no professional development opportunities. Very hard to change roles if you work on anything important.
