Pros

Good company to work. You work with talented people and lot of opportunities to learn new things. Work life balance is ok. You can apply to different jobs inside the company and get a chance to work in different areas.

Cons

The jobs are stressful because so much to do and so little time. Pains of growing company are visible. There are no extra perks except free snacks in kitchen. Slow decision makings.

Pros

Opportunity to contribute to a new core gox rich/methane staged combustion powered booster. Develop and apply Additive Manufacturing, even in low value propositions. Lots of high end tech toys to gain experience on. Dogs at work, and potential pet health care offering.

Cons

Surfeit of focus on IPO track. Refocus on BE-4 or replacement engine concept before we lose Vulcan. Dis sats abound - making high school diploma people technical directors due to c c syndrome. Salary is poor for area, and esp 40 pay for 60 hour typical weeks. PTO of 20 days with no flex or remote work in seattle traffic about the worst compare in area

Pros

The pay was good. The people I worked with were a great bunch of guys. ( not management)

Cons

Management needs to learn how to manage. You don’t run a shop as if your king. You need employees to give subjections and you must listen to them. Never think that you are the smartest one in the room because usually your not even close. I was stuck on the same machine and was never t aloud to move around even though others with far less years of experience were. The only reason I could figure for this was because I was HIV positive and that scared them. Why do I say this? Well they never had blood contaminant training until I got there and when they did, the instructor kept looking at me. In all of my forty something years of machining no one has ever contracted HIV from me. NO ONE.
