Pros

I love a good challenge, I enjoy doing different things almost every day, I am a total geek when it comes to really high tech and innovative processes and hardware, and Blue Origin gives me just that and much more. Thinking outside of the box is essential here, and an innovative idea in the morning can turn into reality by the afternoon. There's some of the brightest minds in the industry here, and you can always find someone who is an expert on whatever questions you may have, and people are always more than willing to share that expertise. All in all, Blue is a highly dynamic and cutting edge place to work, easily the most enjoyable yet most difficult job I have ever had.

Cons

The workload and pace can get a little overwhelming. I enjoy this, but it's not for everyone, as there are usually quite a few people waiting on you to get your job done, which can be stressful when you're the only one doing that job. It's not a good place to be a one trick pony, it's best if you have the jack of all trades kind of skills.

Pros

-Good group of very intelligent and motivated people. -Interesting and challenging projects, and no lack of them. -Working environment is top notch. -Getting what you need to accomplish a task is expedient and easy. -The recruiting and interviewing process is stringent, but ensures that you will be working with qualified and passionate people. -Benefits and pay are OK. Other nice perks like weekly lunches and furnished kitchen. -IT department is the best I have ever seen at a company. -Best of all: You can bring your dog to work.

Cons

-While the pay and benefits are acceptable, they could be better. The management and HR knows that people will sacrifice great benefits and pay to work at a place like Blue Origin. This is especially true for employees recently out of school. The raise system is average-or-below, and does little to elevate pay for these employees, thus forcing them to consider making moves to other companies to accomplish this. -Management structure is very flat, and new management positions are rarely filled from within, all of which makes upward movement near impossible. Pair this with the first bullet point, and things can start to feel very stagnant, especially for younger employees.
