Pros

Ability to work from home. Fun outings for local employees in Phoenix.

Cons

They pay a "salary" but it's smoke and mirrors. You have to earn your salary back in commission before you make commission on top of it. Otherwise, you stay at the base of $40K. Managers play favorites and hand out better jobs to who they perceive to be stronger recruiters. No support of work-life balance - they encourage the opposite.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Blue Signal. We are happy to know our culture initiatives make this a fun place to work! As for salary and commission structure, there are other options that can be worked out with a recruiter’s manager. The current format we utilize is most popular due to higher commission percentages and quicker pay times. Most companies require a quota is met (a.k.a., cover your cost for the year) prior to paying commissions. Although we also have that option, we prefer to pay out sooner and only ask that cost get covered YTD prior to payout. This structure is heavily demanded in the 360-recruiting world. We do cover this concept in the interview process and again extensively during onboarding to encourage anyone with questions regarding salary to reach out. Account Managers do like to reward the recruiters who fill their jobs with repeat business. We try to make it a goal for everyone to bring in business as well as recruit. Job distribution/bandwidth continuous improvement is ongoing, thank you for sharing. Even with the unlimited PTO, fully remote options, flexible work schedules, continuous training, open availability from CEO down, and only 2 mandatory meetings per week, we agree that 360 degree agency recruiting is a demanding job and can be taxing. We strive to offer as many resources and flexibility as possible while also trying to stay in business but do agree at times it is not everyone. We appreciate your feedback. We wish you the best in your new opportunity!

Pros

Blue Signal is a really great company to work for. Matt, the CEO, is part of an Elite Recruiting Group (Pinnacle Society) that is comprised of the top 80 (or so) recruiters in the nation. He is able to work a full desk as well as provides training and mentorship to others within the company.

Cons

The "base salary" is a draw, so you do have to earn your base salary through your commissions. It would be great to have a base salary with no draw.
