Pros

Blue Signal is great place to work if you are looking for a company that values culture, hard-work, and their people. The management team strongly believes that culture is the most effective driving force to a great work environment. Leadership is great. Managers are available 24/7 to talk. They have a stellar back office support team made of top-level marketers and sourcers so us recruiters can focus on what we do best – getting to know people! Blue Signal invests in continuing education and promotes from within. They provide weekly lunch n learn opportunities, have flown industry leaders in to speak with us, and are consistently invested in our career growth and personal brand development. This company doesn’t settle for anything less than the best and the awards they have won over the years are just a testament to that. I would not recruit with any other firm after working at Blue Signal. The competitive commission plan, support team and continuous investment in their people are unheard of in this industry.

Cons

Recruiting is a difficult business. It takes a few months to get your desk up and running. This requires very long hours including weekends. That said, once you put the initial hours in - recruiting becomes very rewarding: financially and helping your candidates/clients grow.

Pros

they cater in lunch sometimes.

Cons

Have been a recruiter before. I am very familiar with the various commission splits, tools, expectations, etc. What was described to me was MUCH different than what I had been told to expect, or that I have received at other companies. Basically, it's churn and burn, here's the phone book, good luck. Of the job orders they said they had too many to even fill that I would get when I started while I built my own accounts, none materialized. If you were part of the clique, that was different. I also felt uncomfortable with some of the things I was asked to do that I did not consider to be ethical, and to tell things to people that were not the truth.

Thank you for your review. While I feel this may be for a different company, it made its way onto our page, so I will address some inaccuracies. We aren’t just another recruiting firm, so your experience here very well may have been different. Not only do we give our recruiters draws so they don’t have to go without a paycheck during their ramp-up time, we also provide them with all the training and tools they could possibly need to be successful. I doubt in 2020 we could get our hands on a phone book, so instead, we provide our team with LinkedIn Recruiter, PCRecruiter, job boards, Zoom Info access, analytics software, and full marketing and project support. In addition to that, we have an “open-door policy” across the agency that encourages new recruiters to reach out to any recruiting manager, including me, for help and guidance. In addition to the support we provide, you may remember that we send out anonymous monthly surveys for employee satisfaction. In the past year, when asked about manager feedback the response has been 100% positive, when asked about tools to perform the work the average response was 96% positive. While we aren’t perfect, we do strive to live up to our core value of excellence and know that by accepting feedback we are always given another chance to get closer to that marker. Another core value we have is integrity; unethical behavior is not condoned at Blue Signal. I take the claim of unethical behavior very seriously and I would encourage you to reach out to me (CEO) or the HR team (hr@bluesignal.com), to further share your experience so we can ensure it doesn’t happen in the future. While Blue Signal wasn’t a good fit for you, we wish you all the best in your career
