      Good Benefits and ability to work from home

      Cons

      Sales sales sales! Everyday techs are hounded by "managers", to the point where it's almost harassment, to sell overpriced products to customers while servicing their satellite system. 3 out of the 4 managers probably won't know what day it is when asked... enough said.

      you learn how to troubleshoot the equipment and interact with customers face to face for better customer service and make customers satisfied with the work performance that you do for them

      not to many cons i like the job just the hours fluctuate from time to time

      Pros

      Good pay. Exciting work. Easy if you like to work with your hands and be organized.

      Cons

      Cannot fail any aspect of training or you will get fired. Company will judge trainees based on what is seen not the work that is done. Tech trainer did not follow basic rules that you learn in the classroom (using orange wire outside, wearing booties when you go into a house etc.) Got fired because i missed 9 and a half points on written test. Pressure sales to customers. Survey the customer takes has to be a 10 out of 10 for dish network. Very competitive work environment, not for team oriented people.
