Pros

When working at BluePearl Veterinary Partners their availability of new technology allow you to treat specialized cases.

Cons

Many are uninterested in teaching new skills. It can be a difficult environment to work in since the cost of treatments are so high. They must be this high to staff the 24 hour facility, however you see a lot of euthanasia in result of the cost.

Pros

Great medicine and cool high tech equipment. There is a strong emphasis on hiring people who work and play well with others so you will have great coworkers. Socializing at work is rarely squashed, if you are an extrovert, you will likely succeed.

Cons

If you do NOT choose to socialize at work, you are viewed as less of a team player. If you want to advance in this company you must work outside your job description and this is not made clear upon hiring. To be a "great" employee you must attend outside of work hours marketing events, which are fun, but for which you are not compensated.

Pros

This Speciality facility is a great place to gain experience , and knowledge and can mold you into a strong confident vet tech with great skills in many areas of veterinary medicine.

Cons

A lot of favoritism , they work the vet techs like dogs and your lucky if your able to get a bathroom break weather a lunch break . Under staffed and hire a lot of people straight out of school , so basically your teaching while your trying to take care of your patients. The pay is not that great and they cap your pay at a certain point so you may have Great review but you get No money increase. Get what you can as experience and skill here and branch out , not a place to stay long term.
