Pros

Management is helpful and kind, and the BCBAs are knowledgeable, caring, and very professional.

Cons

Super inconsistent hours for part time employees and poor compensation for travel to client homes. Compensation in general should be higher for the demands of the job and level of care provided by RBTs.

Thank you for helping us change the world for children with autism! We love to hear that you enjoy working with management and BCBAs who are invested in ABA therapy. We offer flexible scheduling, due to it being helpful for the clients because their schedules can change without warning. In terms of pay, we work diligently to ensure that we are competitive in the field, nevertheless, we acknowledge that we are capable of improvement and welcome new feedback. We will continue to follow up and follow through on all feedback and thank you for your time!

Pros

BlueSprig is the company that is taking over the Houston area ABA clinics. If you enjoy condescending micromanagers then this company might work for you. Although it's easy to put all the blame on the immediate managers the company as a whole is to blame for how the individual clinics are run. They apply pressure to the managers/ BCBAs to be tyrants and say it's for the sake of the kids (when it's obviously about the money). The actual work can be difficult but rewarding when you see the progress made. You grow to love the kids you work with and the programs become second nature.

Cons

It was a horrible place to work. Very liberal organization. No lunch breaks. No break time for phone calls. I had been vaccinated but when a child who was Covid positive had spent time with me. They gave me the option to come into work. When I did staff frowned upon it.

Thank you for your feedback! We love to hear that you have enjoyed working with the clients and found the work to be rewarding! Every member of our clinical team is well versed in our clients' treatment plans, goals, and targets. As a client progresses, the clinician will review progress with the therapy team and the client’s family to ensure the best clinical outcomes. For employee breaks, we comply with all state and federal guidelines. We will continue to provide resources, training, and support to ensure a positive experience for all. Thank you!

Thank you for helping us change the world for children with autism! We love to hear that you are enjoying the great working atmosphere and fair pay! In the event that a client cancels, we encourage you to talk with your center leadership about scheduling make-up hours or hours at a different location that is local. Our team is working hard to clarify this for all employees. We will continue to follow up and follow through on all feedback and thank you for your time!
