Toxic positivity; chaotic decision making

Pros

Good pathways for RBTs to grow into BCBAs if desired. Some incredible leaders and mentors. Good ideas about ways to support the industry as a whole.

Cons

Over-focused on “values” and company promotion so that BlueSprig appears to be the best of the best, but in reality those values are just words on a wall. Top level leadership does not actually support the values they regularly talk about. Quick company growth coupled with frequent acquisitions without solid integration plans has led to a sense of chaotic decision making and a watering down of what was originally intended. Fast paced environment appears to result in knee jerk responses and decisions rather than a more measured process. Lots of focus on “saying” the right things regarding cultural and social issues, but doing little to support employees across the board. Dig deep and look under the covers here... it’s not as rosy as the social media posts make it out to be.

Thank you for your work to help us change the world for children with autism! We appreciate your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed working with the clients and our positive staff! We offer flexible scheduling, due to it being helpful for the clients because their schedules can change without warning. Often center leadership can offer alternative hours, make-up sessions with a client, or hours at a neighboring center when cancelations happen. All feedback will be followed up and followed through. Thank you!
