Pros

The company's culture is progressive and collaborative. Both clinical and systemic integrity is valued, and providing world-class therapy is at the forefront of every decision made. Employee input is valued and sought after.

Cons

In some ways, we are still troubleshooting. For employees who work best without a lot of change, this could be a point of frustration.

Thank you for noting that we care about our employees and have a collaborative culture! As for a fast pace environment, we made a decision to slow our growth in 2021 to make sure we are supporting our teams well.

Pros

As part of our renewed contracts with the company, our previous non-competition agreements were removed, as Blue Sprig said they wanted to show us that they only wanted employees working for them who wanted to be there. I, like others, found this to be very admirable, and this action quickly promoted loyalty among the staff. Earlier, at the initial announcement meeting, it was also said by the new CEO that this would be a meritocracy, and that any employee who showed the effort could absolutely work their way up. Many were encouraged by this and believed him.

Cons

It was revealed today towards the end of the work day that we would not be paid all of the days that our clinic would be closed for Thanksgiving; specifically, holiday pay would be given for Thanksgiving Day, but we will not be paid for Wednesday or Friday, days that our office is closed and we have no ability to work towards our paycheck. This quickly brought down morale among many of my teammates, both new and established. It should also be noted that this information was not given freely, but instead had to be asked about by several people who had the mind to be concerned over such things.

We are so sorry you and your team felt that way regarding our holiday hours. We are adjusting our holiday schedule next year.

Pros

Large organization with established systems and processes. Opportunities to gain experience in a high-demand field.

Cons

This company promotes neurodiversity-affirming values, but in practice, responses to neurodivergence can feel impersonal and overly compliance-driven. Conversations around neurodivergence were quickly redirected to HR for accommodations, without acknowledgment or effort to understand individual experiences in the moment. Additionally, there were instances of leadership speaking negatively about an autistic technician, which raised concerns about how neurodivergence is perceived internally versus how the company presents itself externally. Accommodations are important, but they should not be the entry point for basic respect and understanding. In an environment that claims to be affirming, those should already be embedded in everyday interactions and leadership culture.

Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful feedback. We take concerns like this seriously, especially when they relate to how our values are reflected in day-to-day interactions. Creating an environment grounded in respect, understanding, and support is important to us, and we recognize there is always more to learn and improve. Your perspective is valuable as we continue to evaluate training, leadership development, and how we support neurodivergent team members in meaningful ways.
