Pros

Gratis, good coworkers and occasionally a good manager. If you’re looking to get screwed and feel used it’s more socially acceptable than prostitution.

Cons

The company is extremely disorganized. You can literally tell that the people who make most the important decisions, especially logistical, either have no idea what they’re doing and/or are not communicating with each other consistently enough. It’s excruciatingly obvious how little they care for their employees and stack task after task just to save money in addition to astronomical sales goals. Would only recommend this job for rich housewives because they refuse to pay their employees a wage that is actually livable and reflects the number of duties they are expected to complete and still limit the amount of hours available for employees to work based on sales. They also shame and fear-monger their employees into freelancing or looking for other lines of work using gossip and pressure. Not a job for a career-oriented individual.

Pros

Product Discount Brand Education Product Gratis’ Full Time Opportunity

Cons

No real training. Major staff turn over, terrible upper management you get no support. HR doesn’t seem to exist. Unorganized. Managers pick who receives, who they gift, who they help both professionally and financially. A lot of discrimination. A lot of ill immature mean girl behavior. Cattiness. Unfair practices.

Pros

None Zero nothing the absolute worst

Cons

No communication for DM, lack of innovation. Still using pencil and paper on a spread sheet to track daily sales and % of decrease. No paid company holidays, no sick days. Managers accrue 10 days a year and Full time 5. These are the only paid days you will receive. Bereavement is 2 days if your spouse or parent dies. Mangers have to request cleaning supplies from the DM, usually no budget. As a store manager you do not have access to a staples account or P-card for expenses. Everything goes through the DM. No business cards no email, but you are expected to build client relations with no tools. Events the team is expected to call clients, again we do not have email or a company provided phone to text our clients. Many time the staff used their personal phone to text clients for events. Very classy with the plastic bowl for client beverages and balloons. Image party city hosting an event. Many times we ran out of ink for our printer and had to request another store to print a shipping label and fax, yes fax in 2020 to our store in order to fulfill a client send. (Needed the ups shipping label) The absolute worst experience!
