Pros

If you're interested in starting a teaching career, Blueprint provides a lot of support and training to get you started.

Cons

Blueprint doesn't pay a living wage, at least not in the Bay Area. I barely made more than I did on unemployment at this job. Also, while I certainly respect Blueprint's mission of advancing educational equity, I don't feel like Blueprint addresses the root causes of inequity in a classroom. It's a neoliberal institution just like any other, full of well-intentioned white people who are disconnected from the communities in which they work.

Pros

Awesome people to work with, great experience, gateway for teaching, flexible

Cons

The pay could be better but it's a non-profit so it's more of an experience builder
