Pros

Lots of opportunity to get involved in upcoming tech.

Cons

No paycheck while on bench, must pay for family benefits, which is very expensive. No 401k

Pros

The primary "pro" of working for Blueprint is that they pay you. So, if all you're looking for is to pay rent and buy groceries, this will work. There are a (very) few people working there who are stellar and made life as livable there as they could, but they ultimately had very little power.

Cons

Blueprint offers very few of the traditional benefits software engineers are used to receiving. Their 401k has 0% matching, and their health insurance is very limited. If you're looking for career advancement, this is not the place for you. Much more egregious, however, is how they handle reports of harassment by the client. Frankly speaking, as long as the client is happy, Blueprint doesn't care. You will be nothing more than a warm body to them. While some of the lower-level managers are wonderful, there's very little they can do to help, especially if the client in question is one of their "whales". They will tell you during the interview process that they will keep you on payroll between consulting engagements as a way of implying a stability that doesn't exist. What they don't tell you is it will only be for a single pay period. If it takes longer than two weeks for them to find you something, they let you go. You will be inundated by meetings, regardless of how many meetings you already have on the calendar with the client. Delivery managers will want to meet with you right before client stand-up meetings, so you get to report the same thing twice and lose an hour (minimally) of work time.

Pros

Basic boring repetitive computer-related job. OK if you just need money for living.

Cons

Don't rely on reviews left by higher-ups. The management team offers minimal support for professional growth and seems indifferent to employees. They focus on arbitrary numeric metrics unrelated to job quality, with confusing and controversial documentation. There are no salary raises or career advancement opportunities, and your opinions are disregarded. Paycheck is minimal. The work environment lacks internal culture, with minimal peer communication. Team leads micromanage and fail to support their teams. The company has been shrinking in recent years because they don't produce anything; instead, few clients outsource them some low-skilled tasks. Fun fact: they do offer snacks, but they're cheap junk food locked in the refrigerator and distributed only once a day, like in a prison.
