Treated like servants

Pros

Ok pay. Needs to be more in line with market. Benefits are great.

Cons

Upper branch manager treats the admin/accounting team like his personal servants. We are treated as we are beneath his sales team yet have to continually clean up their messes. Sales are the favorites and definitely noticed by all. They get special privileges that others only dream off. 100% good old boys/buddy system. The women are definitely treated differently than women.

Pros

The people I worked with were amazing. They were the reason I stayed so long.

Cons

Very low wages and extremely long hours. They expect 12-14 hours a day from salaried employees. Management micromanages your every move, and they GPS track where you are at all time. You will not make enough money here to support a family, you will be living pay check to pay check.

Pros

Everyone is pretty connected among branches so you will always have plenty of contacts.

Cons

Seniority rules here at this company. There were a lot of people at my office who had been there for 10-20 years and newer employees do not get the leniency that they do. These employees had the ability to take time off whenever, work from home, have flexible hours at work, etc. whereas newer employees will rarely get the same amount of flexibility. The work-life balance situation is very poor. To start, you are given 16 days PTO that include vacation, sick days, and personal time off, but management gives you a hard time about using any of them while meanwhile, they will take weeks off at a time within a timespan of a few months. Random special rules will apply to some departments but not others. Some of which do not even make any sense and are based on management opinion. This company is very behind on the times management-wise, technology wise, and company culture wise and the seniority favoritism makes it very unappealing for young job seekers compared to most other options and benefits at other companies nowadays. The position I was in was new at the time and I felt like management had no idea what they wanted to do with this position. The job did not even consist of the majority of the tasks on the original job description and there were times I was even asked to complete tasks outside of my job description and department. There were times I had been assigned long, stressful projects only for them to be scrapped and not used. Everything was so inconsistent.
