I worked for Boldt Technical Services (BTS) until a downsizing in 2009, due to a poor economy, a total of 50 of us were let go during that period. I can only speak for myself. BTS has a range of Architects, Engineers, Planners and Design Leaders. I had the pleasure of being on a team with colleagues who were experience and confident in their field, the best of the best, we all worked as a true team and always had serving the customer as our number 1 goal. I had worked for several Design Build companies over the past 25 years, some of those companies focus on getting you to sign a lower price contract, then have many extras to the project, other prefer to tell you how bad the competition is. BTS in my time there was always honest, upfront and fully transparent with the project projections to the customer. Working for BTS was the highlight of my career, because I worked for a company with real Integrity and good friends.

Wish they could have found a better solution to letting go of the other 49 colleagues.
