Great Entry Level Job With High Pay
Pros
The job provides decent pay & benefits for an entry level job.
Cons
The job is stressful with a high call-volume and occasionally rude callers, so you need to have patience. You will likely not be happy in this role if you're easily stressed. Communication within the department is not always dependable and you may be expected to make independent decisions that, if made wrong, could have a negative impact on the client. Management does not always stand behind its employees when disputes arise. Quality Assurance metrics, while clearly defined, can be subjective (for example, measuring your tone of voice from a scale of 1-10 is considered in the quality review. Since judging someone's tone of voice is highly interpretive, this may not be helpful nor accurately measure your performance.) During my time at BSMH, leaders at the top often expressed and advertised their unsolicited political opinions, publishing them on the BSMH homepage as well as in internal emails, memos, meetings, and mandatory trainings. I found this unprofessional and frankly, offensive. I would also advise anyone working here to read EVERY available resource on the Covid-19 vaccine policy, consent form, and FAQs. The information I discovered in these documents is the reason I ultimately resigned.
