Pros

booj has a super welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We do multiple company outings each month, and each has around 30 attendants - these events are always a complete blast. The open-door policy and acceptance of managers and partners allows any staff member to really have an impact on processes here. I LOVE being able to bring my dog to work, it brightens up my day having all the dogs around! They are now more controlled so we rarely have "doggy accidents". Overall, I love the people and culture at booj and wouldn't trade it for anything. Awesome place to work.

Quite simply, the best job I have ever had

Pros

The culture at booj is like no other company I've ever worked for. Employees are free to be comfortable and act like themselves, which allows for creative solutions to sometimes overwhelming complex problems. The company also constantly reinvests in its equipment and employees and there are a multitude of company sponsored events. Not to mention clear expectations for (scheduled!) raises, really good health benefits, and the ability to provide a very flexible schedule. The company also encourages employees to seize every day and to really take ownership over their responsibilities. If you are self-motivated and have a take-charge attitude, you will do extremely well here. Booj never fails to recognize someone who has put forth incredible effort. Finally, the best part about working for booj is the challenge. Every day is something new, something I never would have guessed I would be working on. And while this challenge isn't easy, it certainly is rewarding.

Cons

With a company that provides so much freedom, it is possible that some people may not flourish in such an environment. There is a lot of emphasis on personally responsibility, and making sure you meet the expectations you set. If you don't manage your time well, it is very easy to fall behind in such a fun and relaxed work environment. There are also times when stress can build up and boil over, and some people handle these episodes a little bit better than others.
