Pros

- The company fosters a horizontal culture that emphasizes mutual respect and diversity. - There is a good balance between remote and in-office work, and annual leave is generally easy to use. - Overall, it is an environment where you can work without excessive stress regarding interpersonal relationships.

Cons

- Even as you gain tenure, it often feels like compensation remains stagnant. - There is a clear limitation to career growth, and there is a significant gap in promotion and job transfer opportunities between the headquarters and the local office.

Pros

Chill Workload Good pay at high levels

Cons

Worse managers possible. The higher ppl go. The worse they get. (a bit like politics) Promotion depend heavily on the team and manager. Not individual contributions.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that you value the workload balance and compensation aspects of your experience. At the same time, it is disappointing to hear that management quality and career progression have not reflected the fair and supportive workplace we aim to create. We want employees to feel that growth opportunities are transparent and that individual contributions are recognised consistently across teams. Feedback like yours is important as we continue to strengthen leadership capability through coaching and feedback, and improve how career development is supported across the business. We encourage colleagues to share concerns like these with their HR Business Partner or through internal feedback channels so they can be properly heard and addressed. The Booking.com team
