Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is unfortunate to hear that your Booking.com experience has not been up to our standards. In a period of growth and change, we are doing our best to provide our management team with the right tools for continuous improvement. We are also frequently reviewing our compensation policy, as to be in line with market practices and to support our people better. The Booking.com team

Pros

Benefits, hybrid working, nice office

Cons

The company is a big lie, it seems half or reviews at Glassdoor are part of marketing to seem "the best employee". Booking.com hires people that would not be able to complain or leave because they have come through a relocation process with their families, paid by Booking. Relocating back is super expensive, stressful etc. The processes are so insufficient, that employees from mature companies may be shocked at first: all the responsibilities are spread, KPIs are vague without any numbers or metrics, yearly review is biased. The core of the culture is personal relations, especially with senior management: you HAVE to seem happy, satisfied, etc. If not, or if you try to make processes more sufficient, you will be punished. Top and middle management seem not to have and leadership experience at all. So called women rights are not protected: HR will only serve to protect the company, not the employee. The most awful experience I have had in my life. People are only motivated to talk about "diversity" problems; still, it's hard to identify what most people do beside that. Roles are super vague, seems like if you cut 30% of people, the company would only benefit. But more and more people are hired to spread responsibilty.
