Pros

- You meet a lot of very talented people, who share similar values of open mindedness and inclusion. - Back in 2019, Booking.com had a "value" handbook that everyone knew about and actively lived out. It was part of your quarterly evaluation as well. I think that was done really well and i have need seen a company since have such similar shared values. I dont know if that is still implemented after the CEO changed to an American person, after being run by Dutch people since the beginning. - Great offices , cool buildings

Cons

- The pay itself was on the low end. But with the Dutch expat tax, it worked out quite ok in the end.

Toxic place to work

Pros

Work at nice country. Lot's of senior colleagues who has some good skills. Lot's of courses to study. Nice benefits. Nice salary. Contemporary technologies.

Cons

That place seriously damaged my wellbeing, cause every time I cam from office nervous and exhausted. Toxic political atmosphere. The work is not so hard as communications there. Lot's of different parties that try to work at different ways, which makes terrible mess. It is customary in the company to write denunciations against each other. Lot's of swearing at the office that makes people feel confused, but this is punished selectively. Some guys intentionally ignore your messages. Some ugly wild quys trying to build relationship at work is terrible disadvantage for this place.

Pros

Trusted by management and your peers to do everything you need to do in order to get the job done. No micromanagement. Suggestions are welcomed and often implemented. Values that actually mean something and not just cliché. Working within a team of likeminded people who want to succeed together and not back stabbing each other for commission. Good flexibility with a very reasonable 40% expectation in the office. An excellent product that is a pleasure to work within a team to deliver, backed by a huge accommodation business. A restaurant standard catering team with free breakfast, 3 course lunches and coffee. Excellent events. Development opportunities within the team.

Cons

Nothing jumping out at all.
