Thank you for the feedback. We are proud of our culture that rewards employee-owners through great growth opportunities and the ownership stake we accumulate through the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). It is awesome being 100% employee-owned! Regarding employee-owner feedback, it is critical to our success as an employee-owned company. We believe regular conversations are the best way to get that feedback. We encourage frequent coaching and development conversations between employee-owners and their leader. We also have monthly employee-owner meetings where the state of the business is shared. It is also a great opportunity to exchange ideas, raise questions and provide input to our leaders. Being engaged in the business and providing this feedback is an expectation of our employee-owners. Finally, this fall we are launching a new survey process to continually gather employee-owner feedback about their overall experience at Border States. Thanks again for the feedback. Pros

Helpful coworkers. They are always willing to help out as they all know it takes months to learn the outdated systems.

Cons

Compensation rates do not meet market levels. Zero flexibility with work hours. Mundane and monotonous tasks. Unchallenging work. Bland office culture.

Lower pay than I expect. Work/Life balance is not ideal for wanting to move up in the business. Not very keen on working from home.
