Pros

Border States offers a solid paid time off plan after you've been there awhile along with an employee stock ownership program. Monday through Friday with weekends off. Room to advance especially if you are willing to relocate. Small sales commission but it does add to your paycheck.

Cons

The bigger this company got the more you felt like a number on a page. Be nice to see a more equal salary between all the various positions. Some of the hardest working people at a branch level are paid the least.

Pros

ESOP shares available. This company has invested heavily in SAP and it’s logistics services. Other benefits are either great or average. Places a huge emphasis on safety and invests heavily to protect employee owners and facilities. Great company!

Cons

Pay could be more competitive. Health plans have lower deductibles, but offer no copayments. Company’s management style could be more inclusive and hands on. Current employee owners would benefit if more of an emphasis of SAP and process training were put in place.
