Pros

Good people. Given a lot of responsibility to make decisions for the well being of the company. ESOP is a great benefit.

Cons

Can be late to the game to add head count to support growth.

Pros

Border States offers a solid paid time off plan after you've been there awhile along with an employee stock ownership program. Monday through Friday with weekends off. Room to advance especially if you are willing to relocate. Small sales commission but it does add to your paycheck.

Cons

The bigger this company got the more you felt like a number on a page. Be nice to see a more equal salary between all the various positions. Some of the hardest working people at a branch level are paid the least.
