      For the most part decent people to work with and for.

      Cons

      Terrible communication regarding roles and expectations. Inconsistent and conflicting enforcement of standard training protocol for certain warehousing tasks. Favoritism and unequal weight to certain people regarding human resources issues

      I worked for border states for over 20 years and enjoyed most of them they have profit sharing which is huge

      They tend to run very lean to make up for the money they waste

      Fast pace and always challenging Nice people to work with in the branches ESOP Growing fast

      Poor leadership in IT Contradiction in leaders' talk and actions No appreciation or sense of value for employee owners, other than keep your head down and get the work done. Leaders have huge egos and very little self awareness or compassion Poor leaders create a dog eat dog environment where no one feels safe or valued
