      Once an exceptional company has now become bloated, bureaucratic, political, and slow to market.

      Pros

      Global presence, owned by a charitable foundation, vast resources and technical expertise.

      Cons

      Bloated, top-heavy bureaucracy. Overwhelmingly complex and byzantine policies and procedures. Slow to innovated and bring new products to market. Risk averse to the point of paralysis. Most time spent implementing new initiatives, reorganizing, producing PowerPoint presentations, and sitting in a never ending series of internal meetings. Company is inwardly focused and fixated on serving top management. The CEO is treated like a God.

      You will be surrounded by German people. If you like international stuff, it will be okay.
