Pros

Knowing that a portion of the profits go to help feed people in need, working with fun and interesting people, employee discount on nerdy merch

Cons

Not much room for advancement (especially if you're not in CA where stores are more common). Worked there for over a year without a raise. While my local store manager was great, our district manager was a tool that quickly reminded us that it is still a corporation that values dollars over people.
