Pros

Its a good place to start of you have no experience or don't know what's good for you. Some departments follow Boyd's version of minimizing employees and making them feel worthless more closely than others.

Cons

This is the worst company I have ever worked for. You would expect the non benefit perks to be great since the benefits are so marginal but the company gives no concessions anywhere. They are unwilling to make simple adjustments to increase productivity and profitability. They treat their senior management like saints, praising their every thought while minimizing the rest of their employees. They offer no respect or basic human kindness to their employees below management level. They promote ineffective people to management positions so the end result is petty insecurity.

Pros

- Pay is on time every time.

Cons

If I could give a "0 stars" for this company I would. Hands down one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They notoriously underpay compared to national averages and industry standards. They also practice unfair and discriminatory hiring and promoting practices, they do not offer raises or bonuses based upon actual performance, and they have a toxic and hostile environment rife with silos. It is a common occurrence for qualified individuals to be passed for the rare promotional opportunities to rise in the ranks and further their careers for unqualified and less experienced individuals who happen to have an "in". If you aren't a 6ft (or taller) white male OR a 5ft female with plastic surgery don't expect to be hired in any management or executive roles.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Pay is 20% below market unless you are the few that get a bonous or bought “points” in the company in like 1976. If you want to live in the past this company is for you. Managers still talking about the good old days and the Vietnam war. It’s just one big 8 year old tree house club of guys that stuck around for 30 years that use the employees as punching bags.
