Same position (not title) for 25 years

Pros

Love my department but that's where it ends. Hired at higher pay field but HR reconstructed and lowered mine by a re-title which caps lower. No raise after that. Barely make over minimum after 25 years.

Cons

Bad Management on top. Pay at lower positions very low. Some benefits are good but don't make up because not $$$$ in your pocket. So overloaded with VPs who get paid very high salaries while the workers get very low wages. When wages are increased it's by teeny percentages which doesn't make up for the increase in cost of everything (insurance, taxes, etc). End up with less pay.

Just Wow

Pros

Helping blind and low vision people to navigate their world. Many good people doing good work

Cons

Management is clueless and only care about cutting programs and services while giving raises to themselves for doing nothing.

Pros

Great learning experience. Wonderful/grateful people who want services. Majority of workers find and express the pleasures of their position.

Cons

Low pay. One position does many tasks. Management has a difficult time communicating and executing tasks. Too many VPs, managers, and leads with different working styles.
