Pros

You learn extremely quickly in the Brainlabs environment. There are constant trainings on everything from client communication, keeping up with the latest trends in digital marketing, and more. Facebook, Google, Bing reps and more are on hand to help. Really amazing support! Employee training will quickly put industry noobs at the top of their game and bring mid-level managers to the top! Tons of opportunities to become a thought leader (public speaking, blogging, etc.) The client roster is really great. Smart clients that make you think hard and strategize, but I never encountered an unhinged client in my time there. The sales team does a great job pre-qualifying clients to ensure they treat the team fairly. And if they don't, the client gets fired (which I witnessed once - a great testament to Brainlabs putting the team's mental health above the bottom line.)

Cons

Pay is fairly low but that's what you get in an agency environment. Benefits like occasional days off (in which many Brainlabs employees would spend catching up on work anyway) just don't make up for the intensity of the job. Upper management & HR do not fully understand or support the strain put on working parents in 2020-2021. Due to a heavy workload, almost all the employees I interacted with & managed worked at nights and weekends just to keep up with the demands of the job and our clients. Mangers know this and allow flexible hours which is great but promotes burnout. Almost no one in upper management has kids or childcare responsibilities which left mothers/fathers feeling alienated and many people with families quit during my time there. The culture promotes youth. A vast majority of employees are younger and even energetic folks felt burnt out. It's hard to keep up with the demands of the job.

Pros

The tech team are the most lovely people on the planet, not hyper experienced but very clever people.

Cons

Lots of work with Google/Facebook Ads APIs, some legacy PHP hanging around.
